Track Girls News

(March 13, 2018).  The Rams ended up finishing 2nd at the 6 team Lincoln Way West meet.  The 4x800m relay team of Karolina Styrczula, Johnna Baniewicz, Nadia Roberts, and Joclyn Ordonez finished 1st place.  Nadia Roberts finished 2nd in the high jump.  Aneta Stoch and Jenna Rapp finished 2nd and

The team displayed a 3rd place overall finish at the SSC Red Division conference meet.  Nadia Roberts and Karolina Stachon went 1-2 in the high jump, both clearing 4-8.  Joclyn Ordonez was 2nd in the 400m, while Jina Patel was 3rd in the 600m and Karolina Styrczula was 3rd in the 800m.  The 4x400

(March 1, 2018).  Girls competed at Hinsdale and faired well against a team that is quite competitive.  Highlights of the meet:  Nadia Roberts won the high jump with a 5-0 jump and got 2nd in the 1600 with a great starting time.

The night started out great for the Rams as Jenna Rapp, Yasmin Gonzalez, and Aneta Stoch won the 3x100m hurdle race.  The high jump relay team of Auset Kheru, Nadia Roberts, and Ally Malmborg won the high jump relay.

The Girls Track and Field team beat out Argo, but just gets nipped by Oak Lawn at Tuesday's meet at Oak Lawn.  Esmeralda Flores won the 3200m run.  Aneta Stoch and Jenna Rapp finish 1-2 in the 100m hurdle race, while they finish 1-3 in the 300m hurdle race.

Frosh Soph team finish 10th out of 17 teams at the Shepard F/S Invite.  Nadia Roberts was the star as she cleared 4-10 in the high jump and finished 1st place. Madison Simpson finished 6th in the shot put, Anna Babicz finished 5th inn the discus.

The Girls Track and Field team finish 3rd place out of 8 teams Friday at Richards.  Christine Trovato finished 2nd in the 3200m run and 6th in the 1600m.  Jenna Rapp finished 3rd in the 100m hurdles and 3rd in the 300m hurdles.  Auset Kheru finished 1st in the 400m, shot put, and the high jump.

Thank you to all the Seniors of 2017 and their parents.  It has been a great ride!

The Rams did a great job at the Geneva Invite, which is a new invitational for us.  The team finished 4th out of 10 teams.  The highlight of the meet was when Auset Kheru tossed a beautiful discus 123 feet and 8 inches--obviously winning the discus event.
