Summit, IL (March 22, 2013)- In a non-conference match on Friday evening against rival Argo, Reavis (3-2, 0-0) came out ready to play. The Rams started the scoring early with a goal by Celeste Lara only 2 minutes into the game. Reavis expanded that lead to 4-0 in the first half with goals by Chanel Koepke and Alexis Delgado. Naomi Guzman added the fifth goal on a beautiful free kick from 25 yards out bending it around the wall, and placing it in the top near corner. The Rams dominated possession the entire game, and solid defense and goalkeeping prevented Argo from having any offensive threats. Makayla Spielman recorded her first varsity shutout with 2 saves in goal.
