Burbank, IL- (March 21, 2015) The Reavis Rams have gotten off to a 2-0 start to open the 2015 campaign by following up their Thursday victory with a win on Saturday over the visiting Morton Mustangs, 6-4. The Rams fell behind in the the first, allowing an unearned run to score. However, Ashley Galason drilled a solo homerun in the bottom of the 3rd to tie the game. Morton plated a run in each of the 4th and 5th innings to take a 3-1 lead. In the bottom of the 5th, Galason delivered again, this time a 2-run triple that tied the game. Hope Stepuncik drove in Galason to give the Rams the 4-3 lead. In the bottom of the sixth, Kim Baffin led off with a double and Kaylanie Wierzba (running for Baffin) scored on Natalie Dudek's 2-out triple. Galason knocked in Dudek with another triple to complete the scoring for the Rams. Morton added a run in the 7th, but Kim Baffin (6K) was able to stifle the rally, earning her second win of the year in the circle.
