Burbank, IL (December 22, 2010)- The Rams played solid defense again on Tuesday night, holding Andrew to 46 points in a double-overtime 54-46 thriller. Michael Jerkovich scored 22 points and hauled in 11 rebounds and Anthony Gill scored 10 points, including 5 points in overtime to lead the 7-2 Rams. Andrew fell to 6-3.
Tinley Park, IL (December 17, 2010)- The Rams held high-scoring Tinley Park to 38 points in a tough 38-37 SSC loss on Friday night. Eddie Lopez hit consecutive three point shots late in the fourth quarter to help the Rams (6-2, 2-2) fight back from a six point deficit.
Midlothian, IL (December 3, 2010)- The Rams opened conference play with a 60-51 win on the road over Bremen. Balanced scoring and strong defense propelled the Rams (5-0, 1-0) to victory. Mike Jerkovich (18 points), Salhab Awadallah (12 points), Fadi Abuzir (11 points), Eddie Lopez (10 points) and Anthony Gill (9 points) led the way. The Rams next game is on Tuesday at home versus T. F. South at 7:00 PM.
Bensenville, IL (December 1, 2010) - Yesterday the Rams traveled to Fenton and beat the Bison 56-37. All 5 Reavis starters finished with double-digit scoring marks, including Anthony Gill and Taha Ghouleh (13 points each) and Eddie Lopez, Fadi Abuzir, and Michael Jerkovich (10 points a piece). The 4-0 Rams open conference play at Bremen on Friday night at 7 P.M.
Burbank, IL (November 26, 2010) - The boys' basketball team capped off a perfect Thanksgiving Tournament by beating Addison Trail 56-40 in the championship game. "I'm not sure which team had the most talent in this tournament," said head coach Jeff Smith, "but we were the tougher team in all three of our games."
Burbank, IL (November 24, 2010) - The Reavis boys' basketball team (2-0) advanced to the finals of their Thanksgiving Tournament with a convincing 61-36 victory over Little Village tonight. After a sluggish start, the Rams built a 25 point lead in the second quarter and never looked back. For the second consecutive night senior center Mike Jerkovich led the Ram attack with 23 points. Raynard Carltan scored 8 points for Little Village.
Burbank, IL (November 23, 2010) - The Rams won their season-opener against the Kennedy Crusaders 72-36 tonight in the first round of the Reavis Thanksgiving Tournament. Senior Mike Jerkovich scored 13 first-half points and finished the game with a team-high 17. Eddie Lopez (11 points) and Matt Johnson (9 points) added to the Reavis balanced attack.
