Varsity XC takes home the Conference Championship!
What a tremendous year it has been for the Boys Cross Country team! On Monday, the RAMS took home the conference title, placing 5 varsity runners in the top 11 at Conference! All-Conference runners were Robert Zieba (6th), Fabian Garcia (7th), Alejandro Zambrano (9th), & Gabe Rivera (10th). Freshman Eduardo Garcia finished off the top 5 placing 11th. What an outstanding TEAM performance! Great job!
This is the Rams first Conference title since 2010, and also the first for new Head Coach Jake Juracka and Assistant Coach Jeff Kreil.
Rams travel to Lisle! WIN Main Event Spirit Award!
The Reavis Rams Boys & Girls showed up in Ram fashion Saturday to the Main Event Lisle Invite at Lisle High School this past Saturday! The Rams performed well to say the least. Leading the Rams was Senior Captain Fabian Garcia with a top 25 finish against some elite competition. He was also voted as the XC Athlete of the week! Great job Fabian! Other top Varsity performers were Zambrano (30th), Zieba (39th), & Gabe Rivera (50th).
For the Fr/So Boys team, top finishers were Marcel Bitner (42nd), Gabe Espinosa (43rd), & Jon Zdebski (57th). Great job boys!
Boys XC survive the heat at Midlothian Meadows
The Boys Running Rams Cross Country team competed at the Tinley Park Invitational this past Saturday at Midlothian Meadows in Midlothian, IL. As a team, the Rams finished 7th overall. Individually, Fabian Garcia led the varsity squad finishing 19th overall. Other top performaers were Robert Zieba (25th), Gabe Rivera (28th), Alejandro Zambrano (29th), Eduardo Garcia (40th), Brian Medina (45th), & Kris Juchas (49th).
The FR/SO XC boys finished 9th as a squad, led by sophomore Anthony Bitner (11th). Brandon Armendarez also had a great race (31st) depsite the heat.
