Great Start for Girls at TFS Invite

Great job girls at TFS Invite, as the Varsity finished 11th and the Frosh Soph finished 5th out of 20 teams. The Frosh Soph girls were led by Alyssa Froylan who finished 11th overall. Jocyln Ordonez, Johnny Baniewicz,  Tera Temko, and Savannah Gilgenberg were the Ram scorers. Christine Trovato led the Rams, while Karolina Styrczula, Carmen Villarreal, Mariela Martinez, and Vicky Behling were the scorers. Tifany Ramirez was the top open runner. Great meet ladies. 

Jeff Kreil

Coach Jeff Kreil enters his 2nd year as the Assistant Cross Country Coach for the both the boys and girls program.  Coach Kreil will be using his expertise in helping develop the frosh soph team for the girls program.

Reavis Ram alum making it BIG in Colorado

October 30, 2015.  (Colorado).  Jessica Watychowicz, a Reavis graduate, is still running strong as she is training for the Olympic trials.  She has been living and training in Colorado the past few months learning to adjust to the different altitudes.  She is shooting to qualify for the Olympic Trials in the half marathon.  She ran this weekend in Philadelphia after only seven weeks hard core training and ran a 1:15.51 for the half marathon.  Qualifying standards is 1:15:00.  Not bad for the FIRST time running the half marathon, being that she was only off the standard by 5

Four Reavis Alum a part of the Skyway Collegiate Championship

October 24, 2015.  (Sugar Grove, IL)  Four Reavis Running Rams help capture the Skyway Collegiate Championship at Waubonsee Community College this past Saturday.  Yuliana Olivares, Weronica Staszel, Stephanie Majewski, and Gabby Plewa (al to the left of Coach Horstmeyer in picture) all were a part of this great day as they competed for MVCC.  All four were standouts here at Reavis and it is no wonder that they all contributed to the Cyclones victory.

Junior Esmeralda Flores Qualifies for IHSA Sectional race

October 24, 2015.  (Midlothian, IL).  Junior Esmeralda Flores ran at Midlothian Meadows this past Saturday and ran a great race.  She qualified for the IHSA Sectional meet held this Saturday, October 31st at Katherine Legge Park in Hinsdale, IL.  She is among the very best in the state of Illinois at this elite Sectional meet.  Good luck to her as she races to her best time of the season.

SSC Red Conference meet SUCCESSFUL all around

October 17 2015.  (Burbank, IL)  What an amazing day the Runnin' Rams had on Saturday as we hosted the SSC Red Division Conference meet.  The team was voted Most Sportsmanship for the sixth time in a row.  The first race was the Frosh Soph race, and they started the day off right, as they finished FIRST overall, beating the 2nd place team by only 3 points.  Sophomore Karolina Styrczula had a strong 2nd place finish, while Brianna Rodriguez and Carmen Villarreal both also finished in the top 10 with a 5th place and a 9th place finish respectively.  Tifany Ramirez, Mariela Ma
