Palos Heights, IL (February 9, 2015) - Congratulations to Coach Frank Keller & the Varsity Swimming & Diving team for winning the SSC RED Conference Championship. This is the team’s 3rd straight SSC RED Championship and 4th in the last 5 years.
The team was led by the following conference champions: Matt Blicharski in the 200 freestyle & 100 Butterfly, and Marcin Ciszek, Kris Ogiela, Jakub Mysliwiec, and Blicharski in the 400 freestyle relay.
Swim team captures SSC title
Oak Lawn, IL (February 2, 2013) - On Saturday, the Varsity team won the SSC Red Conference championship at Oak Lawn High School by narrowly overcoming a deeper, favored Shepard Astros squad. This victory marks the third Varsity championship in school history (2007, 2011, 2013). With a gritty performance on Friday night, Cody Karanosky began the scoring by winning the championship in the 11 dive competition. Jose Peralta also contributed a point with a twelfth place finish. Oak Lawn, IL (February 4, 2012) - The Varsity and JV teams competed at the Conference meet on Thursday and Saturday at Oak Lawn High School. Most team members swam to significant time drops as the Varsity team finished third and the JV team finished second.
Swim/Dive Captures Conference Title
Palos Heights, IL (February 7, 2011) - The Varsity Swim/Dive team became two-time SSC Red Division Champions by narrowly defeating the Shepard Astros in their home pool on Saturday. The win marks the team’s first Varsity championship since 2007. The Rams led the way with 282 points, followed by Shepard (273), Richards (224), Evergreen Park (176), Argo (131), Oak Lawn (102), and Eisenhower (97).
