Burbank, IL (September 20) - The Varsity Girls Tennis Team moved to 10-1 overall with a 4-1 win over Queen of Peace yesterday. Phan Le at #2 singles led the way with a 6-1, 6-0 win. Also making short work of their opponents were Joanna Sochacka And Liz Weiler at #3 doubles (6-1, 6-0). Kayla Mangiapane and Nicole Kowalczyk at #1 doubles lost there first two games only to focus and win the next 12 in a row. Jenny LoRusso and Sam Mangiapane had a hard time finding their mojo at #2 doubles making the Rams wait for their 7-6, 6-4 victory. The Rams travel to Blue Island to take on Eisenhower in their quest for the conference crown.
