In their first meet of the season the Rams started strong with a 3rd place finish at the Argo Invite. Conference foes Richards and Eisenhower were also in attendance.
In the shot put, the Rams were led by Senior Nick Solis' 3rd place finish, throwing 42'8 Senior Captain Jose Castellano broke out with a personal best throw of 39'0 1/2".
The sprinters were led by Isaac Wheadon's pair of 3rd place finishes in the very competetive 55m hurdles and 400 dash. The 4 lap relay team of Joe Pauletic, Ramzi Abudayyeh, Isaac Wheadon, and Mike Belbis had a thrilling finish to their tightly contested race. Mike Belbis expertly raced the final turn to secure 3rd for the Rams.
Steven Cole made his track debut with a solid 200m performance. Eder Magana set a personal best in the 200 and Hector Servin coasted in a fun to watch heat of the 200. Eduardo Flores took 1st in his heat and 5th overall in 400.
The Rams will take Tuesday in a Blue/White meet but will be off until April 1st when we travel to Andrew for their annual invite.
