Rams finish 5th at Andrew Invite

The Rams finished ahead of Rich East in the six team invite hosted by Andrew. Points from the frosh, soph, and varsity levels were combined to crown this year&;s champion Andrew. Conference rivals Shepard and Bremen finished 4th and 3rd respectively.

A pair of stellar sophomores lead the scoring for the Rams.  David Palac who won the sophomore edition of the 2 mile run  Isaac Wheadon took 2nd in the 300 hurdles and 5th in the 110s on varsity.

Junior Mike Amashta and Senior Dan Marin finished 2nd and 3rd in a very competitive mile run. Adam Gurke finished 4th in the 3200m run

The Freshmen enjoyed success in their outdoor debut as well. Robert Quiros finished 4th in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Khalid Smith was 3rd in the long jump and 4th in the high jump. Simon Rapacz took 4th in the 300 hurdles. Andres Rodriguez threw his way into 3rd place in the shot put while Joaquin Jimenez dashed his way to 4th in the 400m.

The Rams take the track Tuesday in Tinley Park and again on Saturday at the Argo Invite
