April 9, 2019. Our annual senior meet was very emotional as they competed in their last regular home meet at Reavis. Seniors Teresa Guerrero, Jessica Rueda, Yasmin Gonzalez, Trine Gomez, Thais Cruz, Jenn Ramirez, Mina Baniewicz, and Tera Temko (not pictured is Doha Saadi) represented Reavis well. Gonzalez, Gomez, Cruz, Ramirez, Baniewicz, Temko, and Saadi ALL were on the team for FOUR years here at Reavis High School.
As far as the meet went, the Rams dominated the field sweepinig Lemont, Eisenhower, and Oak Forest at both the Frosh/Soph and Varsity levels. Trine Gomez finished 1st in the 100m hurdles, while Yasmin Gonzalez finished 2nd. Keylin Vallejo finished 3rd in the 100m. Nadia Roberts was 2nd in the 800m and Jenn Ramirez was 3rd in the 800m. Michele Gal and Johnna Baniewicz finished 2nd-3rd respectively in the 1600m. Karolina Stachon finished 3rd in the 200m. Madison Simpson finished 2nd in the shot put. In the discus, Jersey Panock, Jenna Panock, and Madison Simpson finished 1st-2nd-3rd. Karolina Stachon 1st in the long jump and 3rd in the high jump. Diana Castro was 3rd in the triple jump. Frosh/Soph standouts were Anna Tumiel, Daria Ziomek, Ryhane Saadi, Yasmin Rios, Natalia Chowaniec, Natalia Carrion, Paige Stefanek
