The Varsity Wrestling team completed the program sweep over two conference rivals on Friday Night. The Rams defeated the Hawks of Hillcrest 36-6 and the Astros of Shepard 36-30. The Rams were led by their Captains Sam Almousa (2 pins), Matt Gonzales (1-1) who bumped up a weight class to take on a tough opponent, and Patrick Ingelsby, (1-0) who wrestled up a weight class, and won the final match against Shepard to secure the victory for the Rams. Other big wins came from Alladin Ismail with a pin, Trevor Kasprowicz had a come back win in O.T., and Jose Ponce with another big pin. It took a team effort on Friday and everyone did their part.
