Palos Park, IL (September 27, 2011). The girls ran an outstanding race last night, beating TF North, Richards, and Oak Forest at Swallow Cliff. This improves the girls' overall record this season to 11-2. Junior Nicole Maier once again conquered the field of 51 runners by finishing 1st overall. Maggie Wojtowicz, Hannah Howard, Michele Lewellen, Caroline Cyrwus, Angelina Duda, and Diane Simmons rounded out the top seven for the Rams. "The girls ran the toughest second mile ever as a team," commented Coach Schoenfeld. "Running that hard together as a team really made a difference, and I hope that the girls compete like this for the rest of the season." The girls compete at Lisle this Saturday and run their last home meet October 4th.
