Lisle, IL (October 1, 2011). The girls battled hard at the Lisle Invite. The frosh/soph team finished 10th out of 20 teams, while the Varsity team finished 11th out of 26 teams. Jen Chavez was the top runner for the frosh/soph team, finishing 60th place. In the Varsity race, Nicole Maier battle for a 22nd finish out of over 150 runners. She ran the 5K race in 20:57. The other Ram scorers were Maggie Wojtowicz, Hannah Howard, Caroline Cywrus, Angelina Duda, Sabina Bukowska, and Stephanie Majewski. In the open race, Diane Simmons was the top Ram runner finishing 27th out of 140 runners, whose time cracked the top seven Runnin' Rams. Coach Schoenfeld comments, "This week is an important week. The week before our conference race is crucial. The girls need to stay focused, and continue to work hard to prepare for conference."
