Palos Heights, IL (October 15, 2011). At the SSC Red Conference meet Saturday at Conkey Woods, the Frosh/Soph team took 2nd--losing to Argo by only ONE point. Scorers for the Rams were Sabina Bukowska (4th), Stephanie Majewski (7th), Yesenia Del Real (8th), Katie Zimmerman (9th), and Jen Chavez (10th). The Varsity team finished 3rd overall, led by junior Maggie Wojtowicz with a 9th place All- Conference finish. Michele Lewellen, Nicole Maier, Hannah Howard, and Diane Simmons were the other scorers for the Rams. In the open race, Daniela Costea was the top finisher for the Rams. Personal bests were ran by Sabina Bukowska, Jen Chavez, Daniela Costea, Lluvia Diaz, Jen Faur, Leann Kanka, Korri Kujawa, Jenna Leal, Marielena Leon, Michele Lewellen, Cori McVeagh, Angelica Nunez, Erica Rodriguez, Diane Simmons, Tina Van, Diana Vargas, Maggie Wojtowicz, and Katie Zimmerman.
