Coach Grivetti Retiring

Burbank, IL (November 4, 2010) - After 43 years of coaching high school football, John Grivetti has decided to hang up his clipboard and retire.  The long-time Reavis assistant coach was honored at the Fall Sports Awards Night yesterday.  Head Coach Jim McDonough spoke of Grivetti, "has a class individual that cared so much about all the kids he coached through the years."

Grivetti&;s family put together a slideshow that was viewed by the entire football program and McDonough followed by presenting a plaque to Grivetti. 

Grivetti, an Illinois High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame member, coached the freshman Rams this season and was an assistant coach on the 1982 6A State championship team.
