Burbank, IL - On Friday, January 21, the boys’ and girls’ basketball programs will be playing Oak Lawn in the annual Paint the Gym Purple Night. This event, which is part of American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, helps raise money for cancer research.
Oak Forest, IL (January 11, 2010)- Tough defense and good shooting were keys to a South Suburban Conference win at Oak Forest 48-29 Tuesday Night. Mike Jerkovich (19 points) and Eddie Lopez (15 points) led the Rams (12-3, 4-2) to the win.
Burbank, IL (January 8, 2011) - The Rams continued their winning ways in the new year with a 41-28 win versus Lemont on Friday night, holding their ninth straight opponent to team-goal 49 points or less. Fadi Abuzir (8 points, 12 rebounds), Mike Jerkovich (10 points, 8 rebounds) and Anthony Gill (9 points) led the Rams (11-3, 3-2).
Burbank, IL (January 5, 2011) - Mike Jerkovich has been named the SouthtownStar Newspaper Boys Basketball Player of the Week. Last week Jerkovich helped the 10-4 Rams win 3 out of 4 games and place third in the 16-team Lemont Christmas Classic. Mike averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds in that stretch of games that included wins over Leyden, Romeoville, and Providence.
Lemont, IL (December 30, 2010)- Mike Jerkovich was named to the Lemont Christmas Classic All-Tournament First Team Thursday. Jerkovich averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds in the tournament during a Reavis run that included 3 wins and a third-place finish.
Lemont, IL (December 30, 2010)- The Rams beat Providence Catholic 46-34 on Thursday night to secure a school-best third place at the 16 team Lemont Christmas Classic. The 10-3 Rams were led by Taha Ghouleh (6 points, 5 assists), Fadi Abuzir (7 points, 10 rebounds), Eddie Lopez (13 points), Anthony Gill (10 points), and All-Tournament First Team selection Mike Jerkovich (10 points, 11 rebounds).

Lemont, IL (December 29, 2010)- Reavis had chances to beat top seeded Plainfield Central in the Lemont Christmas Classic large-school championship game Wednesday night but the Rams came up short, falling 46-42. Mike Jerkovich had 18 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Rams (9-3).
The Rams play Providence Thursday night at 6:00 at Lemont High School.
Lemont, IL (December 28, 2010)- The Rams beat Romeoville 31-25 on Tuesday to earn a berth in the Large School Championship Game at the Lemont Christmas Classic. Solid defense by Salhab Awadallah, Eddie Lopez and Anthony Gill was the key for the 9-2 Rams. Mike Jerkovich (10 points) and Fadi Abuzir (9 points) led the Rams offensively. The Rams play at 9 PM Wednesday in the championship game.
Lemont, IL (December 27, 2010)- The Rams opened the 2010 Lemont Christmas Classic with a win over 42-30 Leyden. Mike Jerkovich led the 8-2 Rams with 25 points. The Rams play Romeoville Tuesday at 3:45pm in the Large School quater-finals.
Burbank, IL (December 22, 2010) - The Reavis Varsity Boys Basketball Team delivered food collected by the NHS and Varsity Club on Wednesday to a local food pantry. On behalf of club sponsors, Darlene Stengle and Jim Tracy, thank you to everyone who donated and helped with the food drive.
