Burbank, IL (January 12, 2011) - In the seniors last home match the Rams (9-5, 6-5 conf) defeated Sandburg 2006-1975. Seniors Tom Kuba (226, 222) and Mike Johnson (236, 204) came up big in the victory. Junior, Jim Spielman, continued to show why he belongs in the starting lineup with a 202 and 203 game. In game two seniors, Mike Sliwinski and Jeremy Coleman, added a 194 and 188 respectively.
Oak Lawn, IL (January 4, 2011) - The Varsity Rams (7-5, 5-5 conf) were defeated by Richards 1940-1779 at Brunswick Zone in Oak Lawn. Jimmy Spielman put in a great effort in the loss with high game (249) and high series (417) of the day. The only other highlight game for the Rams was Tommy Kuba's 213. Ram's look to bounce back Thursday against Argo at El Mar Bowl.
Plainfield, IL (December 27, 2010) - The Rams sent two squads to the Plainfield Central JV/Varsity Wildcat Invite at Pioneer Lanes. Both the Varsity and JV squad finished in the middle of the pack, but there were some great individual efforts. Congratulations to JV MVP Jimmy Spielman for winning high JV game with his 249. The Varsity MVP was Tom Kuba who had high series (1220) on the team, which included games of 214, 215, and 232. Other Varsity highlight games include Steve Frencl (247, 235), Mike Johnson (213, 206), and Mike Izydorski (213).
Burbank, IL (December 14, 2010) - The December to NOT remember continues for the Rams (7-4, 5-4 conf) as they lose their third straight conference match 2067-1919 to Tinley Park at El Mar Bowl. The Rams missed 15 spares in game one to amount a 72 pin deficit. Seniors, Tom Kuba (248, 234 -- 482) and Steve Frencl (194, 259 -- 453) , did all they could to keep the Rams in the game, but team inconsistency would not allow the Rams to mount a comeback. Mokena, IL (December 11, 2010) - At the Lincoln Way East Invite hosted at Thunder Bowl the Rams came out bowling their best three game session of the season bowling a 2968. The Rams managed this feat despite missing several makeable spares. The second three game session following lunch turned out to be quite the opposite as the Rams bowled a season low three game series of 2547. Vernon Hills, IL (Decemeber 4, 2010) - The Rams brought both a Varsity (13th Place) and a JV (7th Place) squad to the tough Vernon Hills Invite. The Varsity Rams were lead by 10th place finisher Tom Kuba (170, 233, 234, 191, 249, 221 -- 1298 series) and 25th finisher Mike Johnson (214, 236, 213, 173, 159, 215 -- 1210 series). Mike Izydorski added a 213 in relief.
Palos Hills, IL (December 2, 2010) - The Rams (7-1, 5-1 conf) bowled their best series (2103) of the season in the defeat of Oak Lawn (1983) and Morton (1761) at Palos Lanes. The five starters Mike Johnson (182, 192); Mike Sliwinski (213,202); Mike Izydorski (234, 191); Steve Frencl (229, 223); and Tom Kuba (213, 224) all bowled great in the win. Steve Frencl recorded high series (452) and Mike Izydorski high game (234). This was a great team victory for the Rams as they continue to bowl well against conference teams.
