Rams Notch Win Over Bremen

April 1, 2013 (Burbank, IL) - The Varsity Softball team got off to a slow start this season, losing their first 4 games of the 2013 season. However, as the calendar turned to April, the Rams turned their fortune, defeating the visiting Braves from Bremen, 6-5, Monday night in Burbank. "We've been close in nearly every game. It has come down to one or two plays in each one. We finally made the plays to win and I expect the solid play to continue," Coach Jim Meskill stated after the game. Reavis improved to 1-2 in the SSC Red, and 1-4 overall.

Harcar Signs with Prairie State

Burbank, IL (March 23, 2013) - The Reavis Athletic Department is pleased to announce that senior Jamie Harcar has signed her letter of intent to play softball at Prairie State College next year. 

Pioneers head coach Marty Mears is excited with his new recruit.  "As impressed as I am about Jamie's softball abilities," he said, "I am more impressed by Jamie's character as a person.  I also can't help but be impressed by Jamie's academic achievements as a student."  Harcar has been on the honor roll throughout her Reavis career.

Softball Tryouts Start Monday, 2/25

Burbank, IL (Feb. 25, 2013)- The Reavis Softball Program will begin tryouts for their upcoming season on Monday, Febraury 25th. Tryouts will be for all girls, all levels. Interested girls should see their respective coach prior to Monday. Returning for his 5th season as head coach, Jim Meskill will run the varsity squad with his assistant, Jeff Smith. Charlie Manning will also be returning in charge of the Sophomore team. New coach Adam Zawada will lead the freshman team for the 2013 season. Good luck and GO RAMS!

Rams Roll In First Win of the Year

Burbank, IL (3/19/12) - After suffering two losses to start the season, the Rams were looking forward to their first home and conference game to straighten things out. They were able to do so...in convincing fashion.  Reavis rolled over the visiting Hawks from Hillcrest, 22-0. The win moved the Rams to 1-0 in the SSC Red, and improved them to 1-2 overall.

Rams Offense Explodes for Eighteen

Palos Heights, IL (May 19, 2011) - Reavis&;s bats came alive on Thursday at Shepard as the Rams torched the Astros for 18 runs and 24 hits in the 18-9 rout.  Reavis scored in every inning except one, yet, as they entered the top of the seventh inning, they led by only a single run. "I told the girls we needed at least 3 runs in our half to secure a win. They went out and scored 8," said Coach Jim Meskill after the game.

Congratulations to Raffle Winners

Burbank, IL (May 18, 2011) - The Reavis Rams Softball Program would like to thank everyone that purchased raffle tickets for this year&;s fundraiser. The winners of the raffle will be notified and awarded their prizes in the next few days. The drawing was held on May 18th, just before the Spring Sports Awards Night. Here are the winners:
