The girls track team finished 2nd at the Argo Invite beating out Richards and Eisenhower, while losing to Argo. The shot put squad finished 1st - 5th. Stephanie Verduzco (33-8 3/4), Yari Lopez (31-4 1/2), Erika Fastwolf (27-9 1/2), Danielle Doyle (27-2), and Mackenzie Mellenthin (25-8 1/2). Incredible! The high jumpers of Karolina Komperda, Kelley Grzych, and Sabrina Laskowski finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Pretty impressive! In the long jump, Maggie Tysler finished 3rd. Nicole Maier finished an awesome 1st place in the 3200m, while Karolina Komperda and Maggie Wojtowicz finished 3rd and 4th respectively. Kelley Grezych finished 4th in the 55m hurdles, Jessica Anderson finished 5th in the 55m and the 200m, Michele Lewellen finished 4th in the 800m, Erica Seno finished 4th in the 600m, Emily Phillips finished 5th in the 600m, and the 4x400m relay and 4x800m relay both finished 2nd. Great performances from our young squad without an indoor facility! Keep up the good work.
