The Rams competed at Romeoville with Argo, and the Varsity girls had a few placers. Stephanie Verduzco continued her dominance in the shot put by finishing 1st place, while Yari Lopez finished 3rd. Karolina Komperda won the high jump also. Diane SImmons also placed for the Rams by finishing 3rd in the 3200m. The JV also had quite a few placers in the mee. The shot putters continue their dominance by finishing 1-2-3 in Danielle Doyle, Mackenzie Mellenthin, and Kassie Brown. Nicole Maier and Maggie Wojtowicz had a 1-2 punch in the 3200m, while Maggie Wojtowicz also finished 2nd in the 1600m. Kelley Grzych finished1st in the high jump and 3rd in the 55m hurdles. Sabina Bukowska finished 2nd inthe 800m, Michelle Lewellen finished 3rd in the 800m, Sam Christianson finished 2nd in the 400m, and Ashlie Wiechec finished 2nd in the long jump. Next week starts the outdoor season. Hopefully the Rams fine display indoors will carry all of them outdoor.
