Palos Hills, IL (April 2, 2011) - Freshman Stephanie Verduzco takes over shot put again at the Stagg Invite. Stephanie heaved a 31-4 to take home another first place throw, out throwing top notch opponents from Romeoville, Stagg, and and Tinley Park.
Coach Kreil is pleased with her performance, and as the season goes on he expects that she will be bringing home a lot more 1st places in shot put, and hopefully develop her technique in the discus as well.
The team overall had a rough time earning some points, but there were tons of personal bests by the team, including captain Yvette Uribe Diaz, Maggie Tysler, Paulina Gal, Sam Christianson, Ashlie Wiechec, Jessica Alexander, Sam Wolfe, Maggie Wojtowicz, Nicole Maier, Sabina Bukowska, Danielle Doyle, Erika Fastwolf, and Michelle Lewellen.
