Lansing, IL (April 5, 2011)The Varsity Rams had an usually tough meet with TF South, Lemont, and Tinley Park. Senior Karolina Komperda finished first in the 3200m run, third in the high jump, and fifth in the long jump. Senior Yari Lopez had a second place finish in the discus and third in the shot put. Diane Simmons placed second in the 3200m, while Erica Seno and Hannah Howard finished fourth and fifth in the 800m. Jessica Garcia also finished fifth in the 3200m. Alisa Dominguez finished fifth in the 300m hurdles. The frosh/soph squad competed very well, as they beat TF South, Lemont, and Tinley Park. Paulina Gal, Sam Christianson, Gabby Galica, Emily Phillips, Maggie Tysler, Ashlie Wiechec, Caroline Cyrwus, Sabina Bukowska, Jessica Alexander, Kassie Brown, and Mackenzie Mellenthin all performed quite well.
