Summit, IL (March 22, 2014). Friday night's meet at Argo had some great performances, as the Junior Varsity finished 1st out of 4 teams and the Varsity finished 2nd out of 4 teams. There were many shining stars in the Varsity. Senior Paulina Gal finished 1st in the shot put, 1st in the 400m, and 2nd in the long jump. Sophomore Sylvia Kozielski finished 1st in the long jump, 2nd in the triple jump, and 2nd in the 55m. Sophomore Paulina Marusarz finished 2nd in the 800m. Stepanie Majewski, Tara Rojas, Jenny Vasquez, Christine Trovato, Sophomore Alex Malmborg finished 2nd in the 400m. Senior Mackenzie Mellenthin finished 2nd in the shot put. The 4x800m relay team also had a decent showing as Sabina Bukowska, Paulina Marusarz, Jenny Vasquez, and Laura Monsreal finished 2nd for the Rams. For the Junior Varsity squad, Adraina Princhina, Sara Litland, Kate Mendoza, and Julie Iazzetto all turned in respectable results.
