(Burbank, IL) April 29, 2011. The Reavis Relays proved to be a great meet. The Varsity girls finished 4th out of 9 teams, which were dominated by Frosh/Soph. A lot of Junior and Senior athletes were attending Prom (only 4 junior and senior athletes competed Friday), so we the Rams had to count on the frosh/soph, and they did not let Reavis High down. The shot put relay of Erika Fastwolf, Danielle Doyle, and Kassie Brown finished an impressive 2nd place. The discus relay team of Erika Fastwolf, Danielle Doyle, and Selena Carillo finished an awesome 2nd place as well. The high jump relay team of Ashlie Wiechec, Kelley Grzych, and Sabrina Laskowski finished 3rd, while the high jump relay team of Kelley Grzych, Ashlie WIechec, and Sam Christianson finished 3rd also. The 1600m relay team of Sam Wolfe, Sam Christianson, Sabina Bukowska, and Michele Lewellen finished 4th, and the 3200m relay team of Michele Lewellen, Sabrina Laskowski, Sabina Bukowska, and Gabby Galica finished 4th as well. The long jump relay team of Amanda Kass, Ashlie Wiechec, and Maggie Tysler finished 5th. The 3x1600m relay team of Emily Phillips, Maggie Wojtowicz, and Nicole Maier finished 6th, while the 400m weightwomen relay team of Erika Fastwolf, Selena Carillo, Kassie Brown, and Danielle Doyle finished 6th also. What a great night! Full of awesome competition, and beautiful weather! What a confidence boost before our conference meet which will be at Eisenhower High School at 4:30 on May 5th.
