Romeoville, IL (March 20, 2012). The Varsity girls battled hard against two teams who have an indoor track facility with a full indoor season. Even though the Rams lost to both Argo and Romeoville, the girls had plenty of personal bests in the many events, with a few first place finishes. Maggie Wojtowicz won the 3200m run and Nicole Maier won the 1600m run. Katie Zimmerman finished 2nd in the 3200m, Stephanie Majewski finished 3rd in the 3200m, Ashlie Wiechec finished 4th in the 55m hurdles, Michele Lewellen finished 4th in the 800m, Hannah Howard finished 2nd in the 1600m, Stephanie Verduzco finished 2nd in the shot put, and Sam Christianson finished 4th in the high jump. Ashlie Wiechec had a great showing as she scored in multiple events. Ashlie finished 3rd in the long jump, 4th in the 55m hurdles, and 4th in the triple jump. In the Junior Varsity events, Laura Monsreal won the 800m, Mackenzie Mellenthing won the shot put, and Sabrina Laskowski won the high jump.
