Girls track improve record to 5-1

 Oak Lawn, IL  (April 3, 2012).  WOW!  The girls are now 5-1 as they beat Richards, TF South, and Bremen last night.  What a great start to the outdoor season!  Junior Nicole Maier won both the 3200m and the 1600m.  Sophomore Stephanie Verduzco won both the discus and the shot put.  The 4x800m relay team of Hannah Howard, Sabina Bukowska, Sam Wolfe, and Michele Lewellen won as well.  There were MANY scorers for the Rams who helped out score the opponents.  Caroline Cyrwus (2nd in the 1600m and 4th in the 3200m), Katie Zimmerman (3rd in the 1600m and 2nd in the 3200m), Stephanie Majewski (4th in the 1600m and 5th in the 3200m), Paulina Gal (3rd in the 300m hurdles and 5th in the shot put), Kelley Grzych (5th in the 300m hurdles, 2nd in the 100m hurdles, and 2nd in the high jump), Hannah Howard (3rd in the 800m), Michele Lewellen (4th in the 800m), Ashlie Wiechec (5th in the 100m hurdles, 3rd in the triple jump, and 2nd in the long jump), Erika Fastwolf (4th in the discus), and Sam Christianson (5th in the high jump).  The frosh/soph team also beat Richards, TF South, and Bremen.  They were led by 1st places by Sabrina Laskowski, Mackenzie Mellenthin, and Laura Monsreal.  Other frosh/soph that scored were Julie Iazzetto, Jenn Chavez, Leann Kanka, Larrissa Barnat, Susu Almousa, Sabina Bukowska, Karolina Plewa, Monika Jachna, and Michelle Borzecki.
