Burbank, IL (May 15, 2012). Senior Hannah Howard will run at North Central College next year. She will participate in both cross country and track and field. North Central College is well known college for their distance running, and Hannah will now be one of the elite Ram who will join their squad. Recent alums who has ran there are Katelynn Schmidt (class of '07 ) and our very own Head Boys track and field coach Matt Moran (class of '98 ). Schmidt ran cross country and track for two years at NCC, while Moran was an All-American sprinter. "Being a part of the team at NCC is like having a family away from home," comments Schmidt, who currently coaches track and field at Liberty Junior High in Burbank. "I am happy that Hannah will be continuing her running career at NCC," comments Coach Moran. He continues, "NCC has a great tradition of running, and I am sure that Hannah will be happy there." Coach Narayanan, the North Central College coach, told Hannah that he feels that she will be a great addition to already outstanding freshmen class. Reavis will lose a great student-athlete in Hannah Howard, who recently earned the Female Athlete of the Year at Reavis High School and a member of the Dave Walery Hall of Fame. Hannah plans on majoring in exercise science.
