Summit, IL (March 15, 2013) - In only our second indoor meet, the Lady Rams finished 2nd out of 4 teams. (Argo 101, Reavis 78, Richards 32, and Eisenhower 24) There were a crazy six 1st place finishes. Nicole Maier won both the 3200m and the 1600m run, which is a tough double from any runner. Paulina Gal finished 1st in the shot put and the long jump. Kelley Grzych finished 1st in the high jump. Ashlie Wiechec finished 1st in the triple jump and also 2nd in the 55m hurdles. Other top finishers from the Rams included Sylvia Kozielski (3rd in the 55m and 3rd in the long jump), Sabina Bukowska (2nd in the 600m), Mackenzie Mellenthin (2nd in the shot put), and Sabrina Laskowski (2nd in the high jump). Our relay teams also did a great job Friday. The 4x800m relay team of Michele Lewellen, Isabella Borzecki, Susu Almousa, and Sabina Bukowska finished 2nd. The 4x160m relay team of Amanda Kass, Sam Christianson, Paulina Gal, and Alex Malmborg finished 2nd. The 4x400m relay team of Michele Lewellen, Casie Cordova, Sam Christianson, and Paulina Gal finished 3rd.
