Romeoville, IL (March 19, 2013). The girls ended their indoor season on a positive note, as they finished 2nd at Romeoville. (Romeoville 56, Reavis 46, and Argo 40.) The Rams had a clean sweep in the 3200m as Nicole Maier finished 1st, Maggie Wojtowicz finished 2nd, Katie Zimmerman finished 3rd, and Stephanie Majewski finished 4th. Paulina Gal finished 1st in the long jump, 1st in the 400m, 2nd in the 200m, and 3rd in the shot put. WOW! Michele Lewellen finished 1st in the 800m. Ashlie Wiechec finished 2nd in the 55m hurdles and 4th in the triple jump. Sylvia Kozielski finished 4th in the long jump and 4th in the 55m dash. Susu Almousa finished 3rd in the 1600m. Mackenzie Mellenthin finished 4th in the shot put. The 4x800m relay team of Michele Lewellen, Jocelyn Acosta, Susu Almousa, and Sabina Bukowska finished 2nd. The 4x400m relay team of Michele Lewellen, Sam Christianson, Sabina Bukowska, and Tara Rojas finished 2nd. The Junior Varsity team finished 2nd also behind Romeoville, while beating Argo. Top finishers were Michelle Borzecki (1st in the 3200m), Monica Gutierrez (1st in the 800m), Sylvia Kozielski (1st in the triple jump), Ariana Lozano (2nd in the 3200m), Paulina Marusarz (2nd in the 800m), and Isabella Borzecki (2nd in the 1600m).
