Burbank, IL (April 16, 2013). The girls beat Evergreen Park and Oak Forest last night in both the Varsity and Frosh/Soph levels. Junior Paulina Gal finished 1st in the 800m, 1st in the 300m hurdles, 1st in the shot put, and 1st in the discus. Ashlie Wiechec finished 1st in the 100m hurdles, 2nd in the triple jump, and 2nd in the long jump. Sabina Bukowska finished 1st in the 1600m and 4th in the 3200m. Susu Almousa finished 2nd in the 3200m and 2nd in the 1600m. Amanda Kass finished 2nd in the 100m hurdles. Sylvia Kozielski finished 2nd in the 100m, 3rd in the triple jump, and 3rd in the long jump. Paulina Marusarz finished 3rd in the 800m. Michelle Borzecki finished 4th in the 800m. Alex Malmborg finished 2nd in the 400m. Sam Christianson finished 3rd in the 400m and 4th in the triple jump. Taylor Behling finished 4th in the 200m. Mackenzie Mellenthin finished 4th in the shot put. Sabrina Laskowski finished 3rd in the discus. The 4x400m relay team also finished 1st. The frosh/soph team was led by Stephanie Majewski, Jenny Vasquez, Casie Cordova, Monica Gutierrez, Nicole Bochenski, Julie Iazzetto, Katie Zimmerman, Isabella Borzecki, Yesenia Lopez, Yuliana Olivares, Karina Diaz, Laura Monsreal, and Magda Kolasa.
