It was the most appearance of Reavis athletes that the Rams has had at the IHSA State Track and Field meet. Kelley Grzych (high jump), Mackenzie Mellenthin (discus), and Paulina Gal (discus, 300m hurdles) were the 2013 state qualifiers. Kelley Grzych represented Reavis well at the state meet. Although she clipped the bar with her heel at 5-0, she made a great memory for herself! Mackenzie Mellenthin had a great showing in discus, and she will be back next year with some new acquired experience. Paulina Gal threw over 102, and literally had 5 minutes to jump into her 300m hurdle race. Paulina did a great job under this stressful situation and gained valuable experience for next year. Great job Reavis Rams! Thanks to all the Rams--you had a GREAT season. Looking forward to next year.
