Junior Auset Kheru had a fantastic showing at the IHSA Sectional at Lyons High School as she qualified for state this coming up weekend at EIU. The meet was a "typical" spring weather meet cold and POURING down rain. Auset WON the shot put with a 35-3.5 throw and WON the discus with a 102-1. She also ran the 400m run at finished 6th overall with a personal best time, while also running in the 4x400m relay. Sophomore Jenna Rapp hurdled to a 5th place finish in the 100m hurdles, while her teammate sophomore Aneta Stoch hurdled to a 4th place finish in the 300m hurdles. Junior Aleks Kamienska battled the rainy conditions and finished 4th in the discus. Senior Syvia Kozielski finished a tough 6th place in the 100m. Jenna Rapp, Sylvia Kozielski, and Karolina Styrczula helped Auset Kheru finish 5th in the 4x400m relay overall. The team finished 6th place overall at the IHSA Sectional meet.
