First outdoor meet is COLD...ends early due to temperature

HillCrest, IL (April 5, 2016).  Senior Alex Malmborg could not help but be a little excited as the COLDEST start to outdoor season is cancelled half way into our first meet.  Even though the conditions were so cold, there were some great performances from the Rams.  There was no score given due to the meet ending early.  Let's hope for some warmer weather.  Esmeralda Flores, Sylvia Kozielski, Auset Kheru, Mariah Carmona, Jenna Rapp, and Tara Rojas showed some good performances.

Girls Track and Field split with Oak Forest and Lemont

The Rams also did a great job at Oak Forest beating Oak Forest, but losing to Lemont.  Top scorers for the Rams were Sylvia Kozielski (1st--long jump and 1st--100m), Aleks Kamienska (1st--shot put and 1st--discus), Yaz Urteaga-Rios (2nd--discus and 3rd--shot put), Aly Malmborg (3rd--high jump), Alex Malmborg (3rd--200m), Karolina Sytrczula (3rd--long jump), Tifany Ramirez (3rd--3200m), Tara Rojas (1st--100m hurdles and 3rd--300m hurdles), Jenna Rapp (2nd--100m hurdles), Breana Jones (3rd--400m), and Aneta Stoch (2nd--300m hurdles).  The Frosh/Soph team beat both Lemont and Oak Forest with s

Rams end Indoor season with great effort at Romeoville

The girls did a great job at Romeoville with Argo.  Varsity finished 2nd and the JV finished 1st. 

Varsity top finishers were Sylvia Kozielski (1st-Triple Jump, 2nd-Long Jump), Christine Trovato (1st-3200m), Esmeralda Flores (2nd-1600m), Auset Kheru (2nd-200m, 3rd-Shot Put), Tara Rojas (2nd-55m hurdles), Aly Malmborg (2nd-High Jump, 2nd-Triple Jump), Karolina Styrczula (3rd-Long Jump), Aleks Kamienska (1st-Shot Put). 

Girls Track finish 3rd overall at Argo SSC Indoor meet

What a performance at Argo Friday night. First places in the 4x400m relay (Karolina Styrczula, Mariah Carmona, Aneta Stoch, Bre Jones); 4x160m relay (Auset Kheru, Sylvia Kozielski, Aneta Stoch, and Karolina Styrczula); Shot Put ( Aleks Kamienska); 600m (Karolina Styrczula); Long Jump (Sylvia Kozielski). Second place in Triple Jump ( Sylvia Kozielski). Third places in the 55m (Sylvia Kozielski); Shot Put (Auset Kheru); 1600m run (Christine Trovato); 4x800m relay (Jenny Vasquez, Adriana Prichina, Christine Trovato, and Esmeralda Flores).  The team finished 3rd overall.

Strong start at Morton for the Rams

(March 12, 2016).  Great job to the Rams as they opened up their season at Morton “Marathon” meet with a solid 7th place out of 12 teams.  Shout out to the 4x80 relay team of Alex Malmborg, Syvia Kozielski, Auset Kheru, and Karolina Styrczula as they finished 2nd place.  Aleks Kamienska took 2nd in shot put, as Auset Kheru took 3rd place.  Sylvia Kozielski jumped to an impressive 4th place in triple jump.  Also great job to Yazmin Urteaga-Rios as she placed 2nd in the JV shot put.  Great start ladies!

IHSA Sectional meet successful for Rams

LaGrange, IL  (May 15, 2015).  Sophomore Aleks Kamienska won the shot put at the Lyons Township IHSA Sectional meet Friday night.  This 37 foot 7 inch toss was a personal best by over a foot.  This win give Kamienska a chance to compete at the IHSA State meet next weekend at EIU.  Kamienska also finished 4th in the discus.  There were other Rams that performed very well.  Karolina Styrczule ran to an incredible 3rd place finish in the 400m.  Sylvia Kozielski earned a 5th place finish in the 100m dash.  Aneta Stoch finished 6th in the 300m hurdles.  Auset Kheru did make it t

Reavis Graduates Continuing Their Running Careers

May 15, 2015.  (Burbank, IL).  Gabby Plewa, Stephanie Majewski, Weronika Staszel, and Yuliana "Yoyo" Olivares are all continuing their running careers at Moraine Valley Community College next year.  They will all be competing in cross country under the guidance of Coach Mark Horstmeyer.  "I am always excited to see Reavis athletes continuing their athletic in a college atmosphere," Coach Schoenfeld commented.  She continues "All four of these ladies are the best that Reavis has to offer--they are going to do amazing next year!"  All four of these ladies have experienced run
