The Reavis Rams traveled to Chicago's De La Salle Institute to play in their IHSA regional.

The Reavis Rams played their last home game of the 2010-2011 season on Thursday night. The program honored its eight seniors for all their hard work and dedication. Below you will find what each senior remembers and what they will miss the most about Reavis Basketball.
Blue Island, IL (February 9, 2011) -
The Reavis Rams traveled down to take on the Eisenhower Cardinals after the 2011 blizzard forced them to reschedule. The Rams played tough for four quarters. Senior Amanda Raschke scored the winning basket with just seconds left, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Also contributing to the scoring column were seniors, Jenny LoRusso and Joanna Sochacka with 8 points a piece.
The Sophomore Rams defeated the Cardinals, getting them one step closer to the SSC Red Title.
Burbank, IL (February 10, 2011) - The sophomore girls' basketball team defeated the Shepard Astros 43-23 tonight to capture the SSC Conference title. The team finished 17-8 over-all and 9-4 in conference, one game up on second-place Oak Lawn.

Next week will mark the end of the 2010-2011 home season for the Reavis Rams. They will host Shepard on Thursday, February 14. The Frosh will play in the North Gym at 5:30 PM, the Sophomores will play in the Main Gym at 5:30, followed by the Varsity 7:00 PM. Families and our eight seniors will be highlighted on this night. Players Jenny LoRusso, Ali McCafferty, Joanna Sochacka, Amanda Raschke, Liz Weiler, Nat Wojtowicz and managers Ashley Boyer and Rachael Emanuelson will be honored for their dedication to the Reavis program.

This Thursday the 27th, the Rams will host its annual Youth Night. The Rams will be hosts to elementary and middle school students and their families as they take on the Mustangs from Evergreen Park. There will be games and prizes throughout the night. Sophomore game starts at 5:30 PM, followed by the Varsity at 7:00 PM. Admission will be free for any youth and their family with printed flyer.
Burbank, IL - On Friday, January 21, the boys’ and girls’ basketball programs will be playing Oak Lawn in the annual Paint the Gym Purple Night. This event, which is part of American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, helps raise money for cancer research.
Burbank, IL (January 11, 2011) - The girls' sophomore basketball team won a thriller over the Oak Forest Bengals tonight 27-25. The Rams held a two point lead for the second half of the fourth quarter, but the Bengals tied the score on two made free throws with 40 seconds remaining.
