Rams Can't Top Lemont

Lemont, IL (January 7, 2011) -

The Reavis Rams (4-12; 1-4) just could not top the Lemont Indians in a 38-48.  Turnovers and missed free-throws plagued the Rams.  Some bright spots included Amanda Raschke with 14 points and 14 rebounds, Jenny LoRusso with 9 points,2/3 from the arc, and Kristina Antol with 9 points  while going 5 for 7 from the charity stripe.

Rams Drop Against Morton

Burbank, IL (January 4, 2011) -

The Reavis Rams (4-11; 1-3) took on the visiting Morton Mustangs and lost 39-59.

"Our guards did not attack, but our lone post did a nice job inside," said Coach Miskowicz.

The lone post did indeed to well, Joanna Sochacka, finished the game with 20 points and 5 rebounds.

The Sophomore Rams (10-5; 3-1) beat the Mustangs, with Stephanie Verduzco leading the way with 12 points.  While the Frosh A (6-6; 2-2) and Frosh B (4-2; 1-1) dropped both to Morton.

Reavis Beats Lane Tech

Riverside, IL (December 29, 2010) - The Reavis Rams (4-9; 1-3) came out on top, 52-49, over the Lane Tech Indians in the third game of the Riverside-Brookfield Invite.  The team effort was there tonight as six Rams added to the scoring column.  Senior Joanna Sochacka poured in 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.  Teammate Jenny LoRusso continued her excellent shooting going 3 for 5 from the arc, adding 15 points, 3 steals, and 2 assists.

Battle of Burbank

Burbank, IL (December 13, 2010) -
The Reavis Rams (3-6; 1-2) traveled right down the street to take on the Queen of Peace Pride.  The Rams battled, but could not come up on top losing, 49-63.  Amanda Raschke led all scorers with 17 points and 14 rebounds, while fellow post chipped in 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.  Guards Jennry LoRusso and Kristina Antol added 9 and 8 points, respectively.

LoRusso Bright Spot for Rams

Burbank, IL (December 9, 2010) -
The Reavis Rams (3-5; 1-2) played in a SSC Crossover game against TF North Thursday night.  The Rams lost, 36-83, to the Meteors and their pressure defense.

"We turned the ball over too many times and were very timid," said Coach Miskowicz.

Jenny LoRusso was the lone bright spot for the Rams, scoring a game high 21 points, while going 75% from the 3-point arc.

2nd Half Woes

Lansing, IL (December 8, 2010) -
The Reavis Rams (3-4; 1-1) took on TF South and lost 43-65.  The girls played a great first half and were only down 2. The 2nd half proved too much for the Rams, as the Rebels picked up their game.

"We got too comfortable and TF South took advantage," said Coach Miskowicz.

Amanda Raschke led the Rams with 17 points (90% from the free-throw line), and 11 rebounds.  Jenny LoRusso added 13 points and 3 assists.
