Rams lose battle of Burbank

Burbank, IL (March 22, 2012) - In its annual cross-town rivals game, Reavis lost to St. Laurence 11-7 Thursday at Czarnecki Field.  The Vikings scored early and never relinquished the lead.  The closest the Rams got is when they cut the Laurence lead to 7-4 in the fifth inning.

Josh Arnold (1-1), who picked up his first loss of the season, pitched four innings, allowing three earned runs on eight hits.

Chargers edge Reavis 3-2

Palos Hills, IL (March 20, 2012) - The Rams&; offense was stifled Tuesday in their 3-2 loss to Stagg High School.  Reavis hitters could muster just four hits on the day and struck out seven times.  "Stagg&;s pitcher changed speeds well all game," said Coach Erickson, "and he really kept our hitters off-balance."

Rams win opener

South Holland, IL (March 15, 2012) - The Rams opened the 2012 season with a convincing win over Thornwood 15-0 this afternoon.  David Beltran (2 for 2; 2 2B; 4 RBI) and Anthony Doory (2 for 2; HR; 3 RBI) led the way offensively.  Sophomore Joe O&;Hara also collected two hits, including the first of his varsity career.

Kyle McKinley

Kyle, a 2010 graduate of Reavis, will be helping out with the varsity squad this season.  While at Reavis, Kyle played three sports all four years and earned six varsity letters in football, wrestling, and baseball.  On the diamond, McKinley started at first base as a senior and was named both Mr. Hustle Award winner and Robert Regalado Scholarship recipient.  Kyle graduated from Lewis University in 2014 and has been teaching Special Education and coaching baseball and soccer at Reavis for the past four years. 

Kyle is engaged to Valerie Pater and they have a dog named Wilson.
