Cross Country Girls
Lisle, IL (October 1, 2011). The girls battled hard at the Lisle Invite. The frosh/soph team finished 10th out of 20 teams, while the Varsity team finished 11th out of 26 teams. Jen Chavez was the top runner for the frosh/soph team, finishing 60th place. In the Varsity race, Nicole Maier battle for a 22nd finish out of over 150 runners. She ran the 5K race in 20:57. Burbank, IL (September 20, 2011). Junior Nicole Maier ran all over the competition yet again, as she once again finished 1st overall out of 64 runners, and a time of 20:18 for the 3 mile course. Coach Schoenfeld comments, "Nicole did a great job tonight. She once again proved to herself that she is a very talented runner by dominating the course yet again. It should be exciting for Nicole for the remainder of the season." The Runnin' Rams did beat Bremen, but lost the good fight to Argo.

The 47th Running Rams Invite took place Saturday, but not before a very special 9/11 rememberence, honoring all of our fallen heros on that terrible day ten years ago.
