Senior meet at HOME

Lisle Invite

Lisle, IL  (October 1, 2011).  The girls battled hard at the Lisle Invite.  The frosh/soph team finished 10th out of 20 teams, while the Varsity team finished 11th out of 26 teams.  Jen Chavez was the top runner for the frosh/soph team, finishing 60th place.  In the Varsity race, Nicole Maier battle for a 22nd finish out of over 150 runners.  She ran the 5K race in 20:57.  The other Ram scorers were Maggie Wojtowicz, Hannah Howard, Caroline Cywrus, Angelina Duda, Sabina Bukowska, and Stephanie Majewski.  In the open race, Diane Simmons was the top Ram runner finishing 27th

Girls improve to 11-2

Palos Park, IL  (September 27, 2011).  The girls ran an outstanding race last night, beating TF North, Richards, and Oak Forest at Swallow Cliff.  This improves the girls&; overall record this season to 11-2.  Junior Nicole Maier once again conquered the field of 51 runners by finishing 1st overall.  Maggie Wojtowicz, Hannah Howard, Michele Lewellen, Caroline Cyrwus, Angelina Duda, and Diane Simmons rounded out the top seven for the Rams.  "The girls ran the toughest second mile ever as a team,"

Rams run at Tinley Park Invite

Midlothian, IL (September 24, 2011).  The Varsity team finished 8th out of 15 teams, while the Frosh/Soph team finished 6th out of 15 teams.  Nicole Maier was the top runner for the Varsity Runnin&; Rams with a 17th overall finish at the Tinley Park Invite.  Hannah Howard, Michele Lewellen, Caroline Cywrus, and Angelina Duda were the rest of the scorers for the Rams.  Stephanie Majewski was the top Frosh/Soph Runnin&

Maier runs away from Competition

Burbank, IL (September 20, 2011).  Junior Nicole Maier ran all over the competition yet again, as she once again finished 1st overall out of 64 runners, and a time of 20:18 for the 3 mile course.  Coach Schoenfeld comments, "Nicole did a great job tonight.  She once again proved to herself that she is a very talented runner by dominating the course yet again.  It should be exciting for Nicole for the remainder of the season."  The Runnin&; Rams did beat Bremen, but lost the good fight to Argo. 

Rams compete at the tough Argo Invite

Cook County, IL (September 17, 2011).  Junior Nicole Maier ran outstanding by finishing 7th overall out of 134 runners at the Argo Invite Saturday.  She ran the 2.9 mile race in 19:19.  Hannah Howard, Diane Simmons, Daniela Costea, and Emily Phillips were the top five Ram scorers, and helped the Varsity Rams finish 11th out of 26 teams.  The frosh/soph team finished 5th ouf ot 26 teams, and was led by Michele Lewellen.  She finished 19th overall.  Angelina Duda, Caroline Cywrus, Sabina Bukowska, and Katie Zimmerman were the top five scorers for the frosh/soph Rams,  The top

47th Running Rams Invite

Burbank, IL (September 10, 2011).  The 47th Running Rams Invite took place Saturday, but not before a very special 9/11 rememberence, honoring all of our fallen heros on that terrible day ten years ago.  Head Boys coach Jamie Johnson and Athletic Director Eric Novak put together a very special 9/11 rememberance.  All athletes, coaches, and spectators were invited to the baseball field to help participate as they waved American flags, as seniors Mike Amashta and Hannah Howard presented our nation&

Girls 6-0 after home meet

Burbank, IL (September 6, 2011).  The girls improved their record to 6-0 last night as they beat Eisenhower, Queen of Peace, and Kennedy.  Junior Nicole Maier once again took control of her home course, as she blazed through it in 20:51, finishing 1st out of over 50 runners.  "Nicole is having a great start this season!  She is running relaxed and seems to just be having fun out there."  Maggie Wojtowicz and Hannah Howard finished 2nd and 3rd overall to help the Rams dominate, while Caroline Cywrus and Angelna Duda finished 9th and 10th--finalizing the score.  Michele Lewel

TF South Invite

Lansing, IL (September 3, 2011).  The Runnin&; Rams competed at the TF South Invite this Saturday.  The Frosh/Soph team started out the day on the right foot, as they fiinished 3rd overall out of 17 teams.  Michele Lewellen was the top finisher for the Frosh/Soph with a 3 mile time of 23:12, and finished 10th overall.  Angelina Duda, Caroline Cyrwus, Stephanie Majewski, and Yesenia DelReal fiinished out the top five scorers for the Frosh/Soph Rams.  The Varsity finished 7th out of 17 teams.  The
